Team Number: 053 School Name: Manzano High School Area of Science: Physics Project Title: Time Travel

The scientist Lorentz revolutionized the study of relativity by providing equations that exemplify the space and time distortions of travel close to the speed of light. We will attempt to use the Lorentz transformations to explore the actual effects of near-luminal travel on objects and will assess the effects of near-luminal travel on humans.
