Challenge Team Abstract

Team Number: 024 School Name: Springer High School Area of Science: Engineering Project Title: Perfecting The Eye

Laser surgery is becoming the leading technology in medicine. Our team would like to research eye laser surgery. We plan to find our information through the Internet, library searches, and talking with specialists in the Optometry field. We feel that reshaping the eye may improve the vision of many.

Our team will try to use computer gaphics to show the best laser cuts on the eye. We will develop C++ code to control the computer simulation.

We have heard of the amazing outcomes of laser surgery on the eye, but we feel thet future developments could provide better sight for all.
