    Area of Science:Environmental Science

    Project Title:High Waters

Abstract
Interim
Final Report

Our project is on flood monitoring, in the category of environmental science. This project will predict how many inches of rain and the amount of time it will take to flood a stream or an arroyo, thus giving people early warning to vacate a certain area. The streams and arroyos to be observed are those in the San Juan County where we reside. In observing the acceleration of water flowing down the slopes and arroyos, we will be exploring the world of fast waters.
