Challenge Team Interim Report
The objective of our project is to find the force, or energy, needed for the destruction of Mars. This project idea ended up being harder than we thought. After much research we have finally gotten formulas that have helped us come up with our program. Some of the equations included are:
E=mv^2/2
Momentum
Gravitational Attractive Force After reviewing our research we realized we needed to make it project simpler or we would not be able to finish. We have decided that it will be a head on collision between the asteroid and Mars. The asteroid will be spherical in shape. If we did not set these parameters, the project would become too complicated to be calculated. We will also probably determine a set size and velocity for the asteroid. Presently, we are in the final stages of our program. We are working on some problems that occurred in it. Our research has almost reached completion. Our presentation is coming along pretty well. We believe will have finished fixing things soon. Team Members Sponsoring Teachers Project Advisor(s)
