Area of Science: Computer Science
Proposal: Team 36 plans to build a robot that will map terrain of any land mass exploring and mapping out the given area. The robot will be run on a small computer (like a palm pilot) reading and interpreting data from sensors, such as radar, infrared, and video capturing devices. This will allow us to create a 3D plane on which each device will add its data to create visible map.
Using C++ we will create an AI intelligent enough to accomplish this task solving the DARPA problem.
