Challenge Team Abstract

Team Number: 012 School Name: Bernalillo High School Area of Science: Physics Project Title: Aerodynamics of Airfoils

The purpose of our project is to use aerodynamics of airfoils to find out how lift is created in aeronautics. We would like to compare the results of wing performance between a computer simulation of flight and a physical model of flight. The reason we are doing this is to see how accurate we come with our data between our two simulations. We plan on doing this task successfully with the help of our mentors. By helping us find information and giving us tips based off their expertise we hope to satisfy our knowledge about aerodynamics.
