Challenge Team Abstract

team number 054: School Name: Manzano High School Area of Science: Medicine and Health Project Title: Neurology and Alcohol

The basis of our project is pharmacology. We want to find out how alcohol affects certain neuraltransmitters by modeling the human brain using a C++ computer program. The importance of our project is to show how alcohol affects these neuraltransmitters, and in doing so, how the rest of the body is affected. We expect the higher alcohol intake there is, the greater the transmitters will be affected. We also expect each neuraltransmitter will be affected differently.
